What an honor it was to capture the incredible love story of Monica and Deshawn, aka Djay last week. Djay secretly applied to Wish Upon a Wedding without telling Monica, and truthfully without any expectations.
As a nationwide organization, Wish Upon a Wedding celebrate the courage, determination and spirit of couples in love during their most challenging times. Officially launched in January of 2010, Wish Upon a Wedding will have 30 chapters spanning across the United States by the end of 2012.
Monica and Djay were beyond thrilled (and shocked!) when they found out they had been selected.
Their dream wedding will be granted on November 11, 2011. This love story was presented on Blissful Wishes Ball at Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago on Tuesday, November 1st, 2011. Please enjoy!
